Your final exam assignment is to write an essay detailing your knowledge and perception of one dance. Reflect on a dance that you have observed or practiced before you enrolled in this class. Using some of the information studied in the class regarding dance discuss how your knowledge or perception of the dance has changed since you have participated in this class. You should consider whether the dance is narrative or non narrative and also if the dance is improvisational in nature. In addition would the dance be considered a religious dance and if so what kind? Is the dance ritualistic in nature? Or is it used to heal the sick or train warriors? Finally would the dance be considered a court dance, ethnic dance, or a social dance? Please read the instructions carefully. This assignment is not the same as the Dance Observation.
Your essay should be in five paragraph format including introduction and conclusion paragraphs and three supporting paragraphs. The essay should be in MLA format (size 12 font, Times New Roman, 1 inch margins, and double spaced).
