Part 1 – Initial Post (5 points)
In your initial post, please include the following:
The topic (or topics) you are considering for Paper #2.
Why you’re interested in writing a paper on that topic: What’s your motivation? Your personal tie to it?
How you perceive this topic is relevant to your audience (in this case, your peers in this class).
If you would like, you can post a rough draft (if you have it finished) of your paper for your classmates to review as an attachment. This is NOT required, however it will help you receive more input to help with the final product.
Part 2 – Responses (10 points)
Read the postings of your classmates. Please answer the following questions for each post you respond to (a minimum of 2):
How do you think the topic is debatable (even if you agree with it): In other words, how might someone argue against it? What counterarguments exist?
One source in relation to the topic they’ve discussed, its citation, and how it might be useful (whether it advances the argument, or whether it’s a key counterargument that undermines the premise).
