- You must write a carefully constructed and documented essay of 2,000 words. This MUST include primary research (an interview) and secondary research (academic sources). If you don’t interview at least one person you will fail (university staff doesn’t count!).
- Essays submitted without a bibliography and without clear evidence of detailed background reading will fail.

What are the ethical issues involved in covering the climate crisis? Interview a journalist about how they are responding to it.
In the Week 7 lecture, we sketched out some of the key issues. We provided a list of academic journals and online resources related to the media and climate crisis– see the last two slides. There is a wealth of such material online. You can use these resources – to flesh out some of the issues we sketched out.
